2 Weeks ago U11 Edge was defeated by Armonk Bobcats by 29 points. Yesterday, the same 2 teams played again. Only this time, Edge was defeated by 10 points. The defensive intensity was what Coach Santoro and I expect. We were leading at the half 18-14. We totally took them out of their offense. Every player on the team was working so hard. We were a couple of baskets away from winning that game. I had both referees come up to me, to tell me how impressed they were with our defense. For such a young team, I was very proud and I am confident we will continue to build.
