Thanks and Congratulations!

Posted on May 10, 2009

As most of you now know, I was not at our tournament this weekend due to a personal situation that came up early Thursday morning.  As of now, I am still hospitalized but hope to be out sometime this week and will return to practice.  I thank all of you that helped out this weekend with the tournament.  My understanding is that the tournament went very smooth with all of the teams participating playing five games with most games on time.  I was also able to follow some of the action by webcam from my hospital room and received updates as to how things were going and how our teams were doing from coaches and parents.  From what I can tell, all of our teams had a great weekend and my congratulations goes to all of our athletes.  I especially thank coach Verdis for taking over the 12u West team on such short notice and was very pleased to hear from coach Verdis how hard they played.  Congratulations to all of our teams for an outstanding weekend!

Thanks again for everyones support……..and a Happy Mothers Day to all of the moms that gave up part of their day to allow their sons to play!

Be well… the boys missed you! But they played their hearts out for Coach V… what an amazing group of boys. You were missed… However, what a great support group you have surrounding you — the tournament went off well. God bless!

    Hi James Santoro,
I hope you are doing much better and get out onto courts soon where you belong. Ruben Jimenez Jr. (shooting gallery) participated in your tournament “RAP” 13u team and I must say it was a well organized weekend. I can not think of any complaints, your planning/staff and preparation work must have been a key factor.
    Sincerely
    Ruben Jimenez Sr.

We heard from Stanley that you were at practice yesterday. It’s good to know that you’re out of the hospital and we hope you are feeling stronger and better every day. We were very proud of the U11 team, they played hard and did a great job. The tournament was well organized!Terri Garrant
