EDGE ATHLETICS

Hayden Peek and Ryan Lo are two athletes that have excelled on our 11u Edge team this past season.  The two boys along with other local athletes have also excelled on another athletic field.  Their little league baseball team has just won the state title and is now heading for the Mid Atlantic Regionals.  It is the first time a team from Poughkeepsie has achieved this level in many years.  In addition to playing for Edge, four of the boys also play basketball for St. Martin’s De Pores.  Their quest for a National Title has already required the team to spend several days and nights in Clifton Park NY, and will now incur additional expenses as they move on. As part of the fundraising activities, our local Chilis restaurant has offered to give back 10% of this Wednesday’s proceeds to the team to help offset their expenses.  Please come to Chilis this Wednesday evening for a great family meal and help our local athletes pursue what we all dream about!
