The team selections for the Spring 2022 AAU season are now complete for all Divisions and will be posted on the tabs to the right under “Rosters” at 3pm on Thursday, March 10.
In all, over 130 athletes tried out for all of our age divisions. The large turnout has made the selection process very difficult for us but we have tried to accommodate as many athletes as possible. As a result, two 15u teams have been created, 15u East and 15u West. Additionally, qualified athletes that were not selected for the roster have been listed as development. Those athletes can participate in our development program.
If you have been selected for one of these teams, you need to secure your spot by, getting measured for a uniform, paying for your uniform, and fulfilling tuition obligation. These requirements must be completed this Sunday, March 13, at the Poughkeepsie Day School, between the hours of 11am and 2pm. Tuition and uniform fees can be paid by cash or check (made out to Edge Athletics Club).The uniforms we used last year can be used for this year. If you have a uniform from last year and wish to use it, please make sure you check the number so that we can assign you the same number this year.
Although we do not have exact days and times yet, practices will begin for most teams next week (the week of March 14). The official tournament schedule will also be posted by Sunday, March 13.
