Questions and Answers:

  1. Is there a tryout or can anyone come to the open gym if they pay the fee?

    A. There is not a tryout, but only those invited by someone on the Edge Athletics staff are eligible to come.
  2. If i am invited to come, can I bring a friend?

    A. Maybe. If you want to bring a friend, you need approval from either coach Santoro, Coach Tom, or Coach Chris. We want to ensure that only the most competitive athletes are in the gym.
  3. Is there a limit to the number of athletes that will be in attendance at any one time?

    A. Although we anticipate a good turnout each night, we will do not plan on limiting the number of athletes coming. If there are an excessive amount of athletes that show up on any given night, our staff will ensure that games move quickly so that all athletes will have an opportunity for a good workout night. We may even extend the session if we need to.
  4. The proposed summer league featured college coaches to be in attendance. Will college coaches come watch the open gym?

    A. Maybe. We did not have enough athletes willing to take advantage of the Invite Only summer league, so this open gym format is designed to provide an environment for top level basketball players to have a place to run with other high level players. Since it is not a league structure, it will be more difficult to entice college coaches to come.
