Edge Athletics Proudly Announces Its New Home at Our Lady of Lourdes High School

As many of you know, Poughkeepsie Day School recently sold the Gilkeson Center, prompting many athletes and families to ask what the future would hold for Edge Athletics. Today, we are excited to announce the next chapter in the history of Edge Athletics. Effective immediately, Edge Athletics will proudly call Our Lady of Lourdes High School its new home.

Throughout this transition, every decision has been guided by one simple question: “What is best for the young athletes and families we serve?”

This move answers that question. For more than 30 years, Edge Athletics has been committed to helping young athletes grow—not only as basketball players, but as confident, resilient young men and women prepared for success both on and off the court. That mission remains unchanged.

Before looking ahead, thank you to Poughkeepsie Day School for providing a home to Edge Athletics for so many years. We are grateful to the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, staff, and the entire PDS community for your friendship and support. Together, we created memories that will always be part of the Edge Athletics story, and we wish everyone at Poughkeepsie Day School continued success in the years ahead.

Thank you also to Our Lady of Lourdes High School for opening its doors to Edge Athletics and providing a home where we can continue serving athletes and families throughout the Hudson Valley. This outstanding facility provides Edge Athletics with an exceptional new home while allowing us to continue offering the same camps, clinics, training programs, AAU teams, open gyms, leagues, and community programs that families have trusted for more than three decades.

Basketball is what brings us together. Helping young people succeed in life is why we exist. Every young person who walks through our doors has a different story. Some come to improve their skills, while others come looking for confidence, encouragement, friendships, positive role models, or simply a place where they feel they belong. Helping young people build character, overcome adversity, develop leadership, and prepare for life beyond basketball has always been at the heart of our mission.

While our address is changing, our purpose is not. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Our Lady of Lourdes High School and continuing to serve Hudson Valley families for many years to come.

Thank you for believing in Edge Athletics. More importantly, thank you for trusting us with your children. That trust has been our greatest responsibility for more than three decades, and we look forward to honoring it for many years to come.
